TORE® Technology
The TORE® is a solids hydro-transportation
device that utilises the natural power of a motive fluid to
mobilise and transport solids, liquids or slurries.
The TORE® technology is wholly owned
and patented by the Merpro Group of Companies.
PDL is the nominated development partner
to the Merpro Group for the use of TORE® technology in
non-oil and gas related markets.
PDL has since supported customers in the
development of wastewater treatment devices for domestic,
nuclear and marine environments alike.

Such domestic wastewater devices collect,
filter and treat wastewater to the appropriate standards with
the treated water then being able to be used for second use
applications
such as toilet flushing or garden irrigation purposes in place
of potable water.
In the nuclear decommissioning arena, we
have developed a robust and cost effective system of mobilising,
transporting and separating the solid and liquid phases in
contaminated sludge waste forms.
Bespoke wastewater solutions are being developed
for both civilian and military naval applications to comply
with pending marine pollution legislative requirements (MARPOL
73/78) that will allow disposal overboard of treated wastewater
within the littoral coastline.
The TORE® separation and filtration technology
is scalable, adaptable and interoperable.
Through access to the TORE® technology
and the ability to design and verify the associated hardware
using our extensive CAD, FEA and CFD in-house resources, PDL
has the capability to develop bespoke wastewater solutions
for any non oil & gas related application environment
in a timely and cost effective manner.
