PDL Asia

In this section

PDL Solutions (Asia) Pte. Ltd. was incorporated in Singapore in July 2014 to provide local support to our customers in the Asia Pacific region.

Since then, we have met with a large number of clients, completed a comprehensive market research project and appointed Michael (Mike) Shanley as our Vice President for the Asia Pacific region.

We will deliver the first projects in Asia by either seconding European engineers into our client’s offices in country in compliance with the appropriate visa requirements, or we will deliver the projects from Europe, depending upon our customer’s preference.

This model of embedding our experienced European engineers into the engineering teams of our Asian customers will continue throughout, but as the Asian business grows, we want to employ local Asian national engineers too. With this in mind, we are already developing strong links with the leading universities in Singapore and we will be holding a series of engagement and recruitment events at the various universities in Singapore in 2016.

Over the course of the next 12 months, Mike and a number of the directors will be in Asia on a regular basis to meet with the various economic development bodies, research institutions and customers.

We’re delighted to call Singapore the “home” for our Asian business. To learn more about PDL, the plans we have for the Asian business and the positions that will be available in 2016, simply contact Mike Shanley by e-mail at michael.shanley@pdl-group.com to arrange an informal meeting.
