Mike, Vice President Asia of PDL Solutions (Asia), will be attending the premier international maritime defence exhibition and conference, IMDEX ASIA, held in Singapore 16-18th of May. The event will see up to 10,000 visitors from 62 countries come together to network, transfer knowledge, and create crucial partnerships.
The maritime and naval defence industry is predicted to see strong growth in light of the current complex and volatile security landscape. A large portion of which will be seen in Asia, with defence spending predicted to climb 23% to US$533 billion annually by 2020 according to Stockholm International Peace Research Institute.
PDL Solutions have extensive experience applying their analysis capabilities to clients across the defence supply chain, in the land, fleet, and air domains. Making use of upfront analysis in the design and optimisation of such safety critical technology can ensure the most optimum, robust, and effective solution is achieved. Some of our niche application areas include blast survivability assessments, dynamic impact assessments, seismic analysis, and life extension of ageing equipment and infrastructure.
