The SUT’s North of England Evening Meeting on Wednesday 18th January, will mark PDL’s MD, Michael Williams, first event as Branch Chairman. This SUT event is sponsored by BEL Valves and PDL and PDL’s senior engineers, Elizabeth Waterman and Lee Brimer will be taking active roles as Chair and Speaker respectively. The theme of the event is, 'The design & analysis challenges for advanced service valves' and Lee will be talking about the use of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) as a Valve Design Verification Tool; with further talks by Malcolm Hay and James Brierley of BEL Valves it promises to be an informative and interesting evening.
