PDL supports schools STEM activities. Race report by Toby at Kaizen Racing:
“The Regionals took place Tuesday 27th January and out of the 19 teams there Kaizen Racing had the fastest car with a time of 1.090 seconds! Unfortunately, we suspect (we haven't got the mark scheme back yet) we broke a technical regulation as we were not awarded the prize for 'Fastest Car'. After all the aspects of the competition had been judged however, we did still come out second overall being narrowly beaten by a team which has done the competition every year for the past 5 or so years. Being first time competitors, we were therefore overjoyed with our performance.
The second round will take place in Birmingham on the 12th and 13th March. As we progress to this stage I'm sure it would very useful to make use of your CFD support at some point, if it would be possible. As we go on to the National Finals, we'd also be delighted if PDL Solutions were willing and able to further support us financially. Given our success at the Regionals, we are hoping to do well at the national stage, which could potentially lead to the World Finals in Singapore this coming autumn.
Thank you for your support so far; without PDL we would not have been able to do so well”
