Kaizen Racing is the RGS Newcastle Sixth Form team for F1 In Schools Technology Challenge, an international STEM competition with the aim of developing students to be the engineers of the future. Each team is required to design, test and manufacture a miniature compressed air powered F1 car, whilst also producing portfolios and a presentation, which are assessed by examiners alongside the team's race times, to give an overall score for the project.
Tobias Vogelberg, Kaizen's Racing Team Principal said, "funds are expected to be raised entirely by the team through sponsorship and so PDL Solutions' input is invaluable to the Kaizen Racing Team. Winners of the competition at the regional levels, progress to race at a national level with the aim of ultimately reaching the World Finals towards the end of 2015."
