Having established PDL Solutions (Asia) Pte. Ltd in Singapore last year, we have appointed Michael (Mike) Shanley as Vice President Asia. Currently operating in an engineering role within the European company, Mike will be responsible for supporting our customers and driving our growth in the Asia Pacific region.
“We’re delighted to announce that Mike will be leading our Asian business from our new home in Singapore”, said PDL CEO, Paul Charlton, “He’s an experienced engineer who is well-versed in the PDL way of doing things and our core values. He’s shown himself to be a passionate and driven individual who places a strong emphasis on delivering high-quality results for our clients. We have every confidence in Mike and we’re sure that he is the right person to take the business forward in Asia and to drive the company’s ambitious plans in the region.”
Mike’s appointment is line with our desire as a business to triple the size of the company over the course of the next four years on three continents. We know it as the “3+4+3” plan. With the European and North American businesses already covering two of the three regions, having Mike and the team in Asia gives us that third and all important dimension, so we’re now “good to go”.
“I am extremely excited about the challenges that lie ahead” said Mike, “The opportunities in the Asia Pacific region are vast and with the support of the entire PDL team in Singapore and the other two regions, I’m confident that we can bring significant value to our customers here in Asia”.
