Fully conversant with the main international design codes and defence standards (DEFSTAN) and widely recognised as being Suitably Qualified and Experienced Personnel (SQEP), PDL engineers have provided complementary advanced engineering design and analysis support on some of the most technically demanding defence-related projects over the course of the last 16 years in the following main engineering discipline areas:

  • Mechanical Engineering – including the design and substantiation of skid-mounted packages, pressure vessels, remote handling equipment, weapons handling equipment, ship berthing aids, ship lifting equipment, cradles, gigs & fixtures, control surfaces, access platforms, stillage’s and storage systems.
  • Process Engineering – including the design and substantiation of HPHT feed and return pipework, pressure vessels, pumps, valves, fittings, rotating equipment, fluidisation systems, retrieval systems, wastewater treatment systems and HVAC systems.
